One of the key services of IIIP is organizing customized workshops on Investment Promotion and associated subjects. The workshops consist of:

The workshops are normally conducted at the headquarters of IIIP in Baden-by-Zurich in Switzerland. But there is also flexibility to conduct customized workshops at the facilities of an IPA in any country.

Consulting
In addition to formal training services, IIIP provides coaching and consultancy services, for example in assisting to:
- Conduct regional or national analyses and develop policies and measures for enhancing the attractiveness and flow of FDI
- Develop a business strategy and business plan of an IPA
- Develop concepts for marketing campaigns and investor conferences
- Organize investment promotion conferences and other promotion events
- Develop the structure and functions of an IPA.
Research
IIIP conducts a number of research projects. These projects monitor and analyze on a continuous basis:
- Global FDI trends and investors behavior
- Business and investment environments and their attractiveness, and
- Best practices of investment promotion by IPAs.
The knowledge gained from such research work flows into enriching the IIIP workshops, and in developing methods and practices applied in the IIIP consultancy work.
